Exhibition Space

We offer an informal exhibition space within our very popular Grapevine Bar which can be used throughout the year for smaller work. We also have an area in our Upper Foyer which is suitable for much larger work, and is available at specific times alongside Questors productions in the Playhouse.

Viewing times

Exhibits in the Grapevine Bar are viewable during the bar’s normal opening hours which are 7.00-11.00 pm every evening and from 12.00–2.30 pm on Sunday lunchtimes.

Charges and commission

The Questors Theatre makes a small charge of £25.00 to secure a two week slot in the Grapevine, and any sales or enquiries are made directly with the artist but we take no commission.

There is no charge for the Upper Foyer space, and we take a 25 per cent commission on any sales.

Publicity

With sufficient notice, we may be able to include details of forthcoming exhibitions in our production programmes and/or monthly newletter. We are also able to display one or two A4 posters which the artist may provide us with.

Terms and Conditions

All pictures to be exhibited are entirely at the artist’s risk and The Questors Theatre accepts no responsibility for any damage or loss whatsoever, makes no provision for insuring artists’ work, and cannot provide any supervisory members of staff.

The artist will be entirely responsible for hanging or displaying the pictures, subject to any reasonable directions by The Questors Theatre, as well as for dismantling and removing the exhibits. Rods and hooks are supplied.

Hanging and removal must be carried out at convenient times arranged with The Questors Theatre.

Artists are requested to number their pictures or exhibits and provide a list, with prices of all items, which The Questors will display.
